What else makes Lover’s Latte so satisfying?

Organic Cacao & Carob

Cacao and carob not only create the perfect harmony of rich, creamy, and indulgent chocolate, but are also rich in antioxidants from their unique flavonoids.

Cacao is also the most famous aphrodisiac food, and has a long history of use by ancient civilisations and famous romantics for boosting mood, arousing desire and increasing pleasure. The Aztec ruler Montezuma consumed up to 50 cups of hot cocoa before a saucy night out in a harem, and legendary lover Casanova touted chocolate’s powerful aphrodisiac qualities.

Organic Maca

Maca is a root that has been traditionally used as an aphrodisiac and to enhance energy and libido. The three varieties of Maca (black, red and yellow) are each traditionally associated with supporting masculine, feminine or both sexual energies. We have used a combination of all three Maca’s to make sure there is something in there for everyone.

Damiana

Damiana is a native american shrub, and is another aphrodisiac herb with a long history of use by ancient aztecs for enhancing energy and boosting libido.

Horny Goat Weed

Horny Goat Weed is a traditional Chinese herb used for improving sexual function and boosting libido in both males and females. It’s suggestive name comes folk observations that goats who grazed the herb would become unusually sexually active.

Organic Tribulus

Tribulus is an ayurvedic herb, traditionally used to improve sexual desire and function, and more recently, several placebo controlled studies have shown its positive effects increasing arousal, desire, lubrication and overall satisfaction.

Coconut MCT oil

MCT oil is a readily available energy source for the central nervous system, and as an instant source of energy for the brain, can have a positive association with improving mood and cognitive function.

Monk Fruit

Monk fruit is a Chinese fruit that is naturally intensely sweet, approximately 8 times sweeter than sugar, and is a healthy sweetener alternatively that contains next to no sugar or calories. Its sweetness comes from its unique antioxidant called ‘mogrosides’.

To make your own love potion, add 2 heaped teaspoons (6 g) to a little hot milk of your choice. Stir to combine. Add the remaining milk to make 200 ml.

Lover’s Latte is certified organic, gluten free, contains all plant based ingredients, and is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women (as long as you are comfortable with consuming a small amount of maca).
